What I Wore Today - Bad-Ass Boots Edition

Hello there lovelies,

Contrary to the titles of this, and yesterdays posts, this is in fact what I wore yesterday - making the romper what I wore on Saturday. Which reminds me, as was pointed out in the comments yesterday, the humble romper/jumpsuit does have one "con". You have to get pretty much naked in order to pee, and as Murphy's Law dictates, whilst wearing one you typically have to pee a lot. Anyway, moving right along to what I wore yesterday.

Outfit Rundown

Long-Sleeved Top: Trade Secret, $16.95
Singlet: Fashion Fair, $6.95
Pants: K-Mart, $20
Owl Necklace: Trade Secret, $3.95
Boots: Gifted from my amazing Nana!

This really is the point to mention that if anyone wonders where I inherited my love of clothing (and bargain hunting) from, it's safe to say it came from my Mum & my Nana. It's pretty damn rad that whenever I show up they always have cool things to give me - like these amazing boots. Funnily enough, in the same visit I got another new pair of shoes because my Mum noticed my old pair of Vans were looking a bit ratty, and produced a brand new pair for me from her cupboard. That's my kick-ass genetics come from, right there.

Check out these boots. Does my Nana have great taste, or what? It also helps that we have the same shoe size, so she can try things on and know that they're going to fit me. I probably didn't choose the best occasion for their first outing, since I spent six hours in the car on my way to and from Maryborough. They were a smash-hit at breakfast with The Boyfriend's family though. I tell you, it's great when your own family loves your weirdness - but even cooler someone else's family does, since they're not obligated to put up with you or anything.

This cute little guy rounds my collection of owl-themed necklaces up to 5. The Boyfriend says I'm crazy, but he simply doesn't realise that you can never have too many owl-themed accessories. After a few more years living with me I'm sure he'll come around. He told me that I can decorate the house in Wagga any way that I want. The first words out of my mouth were "owl-themed kitchen". The Boyfriend is now living in terror of this actually coming to pass. My work here is done.

Until next time, xo.
