Hemingway + Cyclist + Asher Diamonds
As mentioned yesterday, I work in a cubicle. My coworkers and I stare at computer screens for eight or so hours every day, breaking only to weep or get a cup of water. It's not a good look. Predictably enough, the folks with whom I work aren't exactly the biggest music fans on planet earth. I listened to one coworker play what must've been Real McCoy's entire discography today. It was a truly abysmal look.
So my mind was 100% blown when another coworker made a music recommendation and - gasp! - it wasn't complete and utter rubbish. In fact, it was brilliant. Hemingway remixed Cyclist's "Bass Face," and I liked it. Super smooth, a bit funky, and simultaneously relaxing and energizing. I feel like this song would make an appropriate soundtrack for quite literally everything I ever have done or will do.

Secondly. The Glamour. Pretty sure they were the first artists I interviewed for Panda Toes. Pretty sure I have every song they've released in my iTunes library. Etc. Anyways, Asher Diamonds (of The Glamour fame, in case you didn't make the connection) just threw a new cut called "Trio #1" up on SoundCloud. Not very The Glamour-esque, but definitely still a beast of a song. A very deep, very groovy song.
