Clubfeet + The C90s + RAC + Willow Smith + Nicki Minaj

This new Clubfeet single is on some serious seriousness. For one, "Last Words" is fabulous all on its own. Then came the remixes. The RAC tune is on that fun indie dance tip. And it's great. (It is RAC, after all.) Still, I gotta say the remix The C90s whipped up is the one for me. A little more disco. Every bit as fun. Both tracks are great, but this The C90s joint's killing me:

On an entirely different tip. The new Willow Smith track featuring Nicki Minaj. Dear sweet baby Jesus. What in the wide world did we simple humans do to deserve something so fiery, so ticey? I'm so happy, I'm so happy, gracious me.

Willow Smith

September 2010. I'd drop "Whip My Hair." Becky and/or Chad would slur, "Is this a new Rihanna song?" I'd say, "Nah yo, it's a new track by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter. She's only nine years old." And then they'd be all, "Oh my god, no way!" And I'd retort, "Yes way!" And he/she/they would get sidetracked and ask me to play "OMG" by Usher. So it went.

Anyways, Ms. Smith's new track "21st Century Girl" drops tomorrow. And much like "Whip My Hair," Willow's new single sounds like the product of someone two or three times her age. But unlike "Whip My Hair," "21st Century Girl" is a full-on pop banger. Remember when I said "Whip My Hair" was Rihanna vibes + Kelis vibes? Well this time around it's Rihanna vibes + Ke$ha vibes. Fully expect this here tune to crush even harder than "Whip My Hair." This kid's swag is indomitable.

Willow Smith

In case y'all haven't yet heard, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have a nine year-old daughter named Willow. Not content with doing kid things such as playing with dolls, listening to Justin Bieber, and giggling with friends, this young lady went out and recorded a heater of a track called "Whip My Hair." Fittingly, Willow seems to be taking cues from older pop stars rather than her peers - all sorts of Rihanna and Kelis vibes going on here. None of it makes sense. I mean, how does a nine year-old sound this good? And why is she saying the words that she's saying? Eh, whatever - this is large.

P.S. Go Cowboys.

P.P.S. Did we ever come to a conclusion re: whether or not Will Smith is a Scientologist?
