Fool's Gold is more or less flawless. Great music, great image, etc. Duck Sauce, blah, blah. Treasure Fingers, blah, blah. Lil B, blah, blah. Kid Cudi, blah, blah. Bag Raiders, blah, blah. Etc.
Let me explain. Those cats? All great. Fabulous, wonderful musicians. Love 'em to death. But today? Today's all about Kingdom. Or rather, yesterday was all about Kingdom (but I was too busy sitting in bed to write up a post). Dude's new single "Take Me" just dropped on F.G. and it's a massive summer banger. Naomi Allen of Electrik Red crushes the vocals, and the tune as a whole is on that serious sexy-time tip. Cop the full release here.
Kingdom's "Mind Reader" blew us all away some time ago. Like a really, really long time ago. I've been dying for somebody to commission some remixes and release the darn track for what seems like decades now. Unsurprisingly, one of my favorite labels in the game - Fool's Gold, as it were - stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. Remixes by fellow Grinders Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990 as well as one from Panda Toes favorite Todd Edwards make this release well worth the wait. Cop it through Beatport or snatch a beautiful vinyl copy with "Mind Reader" and "You" from our friends at Acephale. Do it. Now.

Ten blog years ago, I fell in love with Nacho Lovers' "Acid Life" and Jokers of the Scene's "Baggy Bottom Boys." And though much has happened and a whole slew of huge new cuts have been released since these tunes first found their respective ways into my sets, I still play both out on the regular.
But to make sure y'all didn't somehow forget about our Canadian friends, the crew over at Fool's Gold went out and did up a video for the J.O.T.S. hit. And the flick rules. Granted it took me a good five or so tries to watch the whole thing (so as to avoid a seizure), but still. Everything rules. This video falls under the umbrella of "everything." Thus, this video rules.
