Morrissey + Uffie

I went through a major Morrissey phase during my junior year of high school. Or senior year. Or something. Can't quite remember, and it's really not important. Anywho, "The Last of the Famous International Playboys" was one of my favorite songs of dude's. But then I started listening exclusively to Dutch house, and I completely forgot about the song. Thank goodness The Notorious Party Boy Soundtrack popped into my life and reminded me just what a banger this song is.

And speaking of old songs. Uffie's "The Party." Or Justice's "The Party." Or whatever this version is called. And to whomever it belongs. Four years later and I still have no idea where I can cop a quality version of this track. I mean, this thing popped up on YouTube back when I was still harboring the most massive Uffie crush this side of Feadz and André. But seriously. Still need. Where you at?

Breakbot

The Panda Toes vets among you certainly remember how much I used to talk about Ed Banger Records. I'd blab about Uffie for days, chit about Feadz for a minute, and chat about Justice the rest of the time. Oh how times have changed.

However, that's not to say that the label's gone downhill. Lady Uff is about to drop the long-awaited full-length and Justice is still important enough for people to make fake Justice tracks. Still, I've gotta go with Breakbot as my Ed Banger-er of choice. I've spent a grip of my past week or so listening to "Baby I'm Yours" alongside Tensnake and Todd Edwards while playing Fifa, and boy does it ever put me in the lightest of moods. Get giddy:

Maluca + Diplo + Feadz + Gant-Man

I may or may not have seen Maluca at S.X.S.W. last year. Let's be real - I saw enough artists that I wasn't all too familiar with and slept little enough that the whole week is one big blur. An awesome blur of course, but a blur nonetheless. Anywho, for some reason or another I think I caught Maluca at the Fader Fort (a.k.a. heaven on earth). And seeing as how I can't even really remember whether or not I actually saw her, there's really no way I could tell you whether or not she's impressive live. Thus, this entire opening paragraph was more or less entirely useless.

So. Moving on. Apparently the young lady's El Tigeraso E.P. just dropped. And apparently Diplo produced it. And apparently I really dig both the title track and its video. So you should a) sneak a peek below and b) cop the release, which features remixes from Feadz, Gant-Man, and others. Can't wait to here 'em.
