This Yuji Sakae Concept Works 4 Figure Set from Bandai includes the original Godzilla from 1954's "Gojira", 1962's "King Kong vs Godzilla", 1964's "Mothra vs Godzilla", and the melt-down version from 1995's "Godzilla vs Destroyah."

Over the past decade and a half, Bandai has manufactured some really great deluxe figures of Destroyah, and today I have a real gem for you.

It's fine to have a bunch of figures on a shelf that just sit there, and don't do anything, but this Destroyah comes with authentic movie sounds.

Why is Anguirus red? Is he mad?

No, he is just sporting a variant limited edition paint scheme.

Then again maybe he just saw "Gigantis the Fire Monster" and he feels a little put out.

Regardless, this Anguirus figure is a Japanese limited edition release, only 3,000 made, that is the companion to the Toys Dream Project Godzilla 1955 Pvc Figure that we featured two weeks back.

Don't freak, you haven't traveled back in time, but this Japanese import graced store shelves way back in 1993!


This Godzilla was produced by Horizon Toys and is a rather rare figure.

Some assembly is required for this 13" tall x 17" long prepainted figure.

Anybody looking for a really big, and expensive, Godzilla figure?

This import from Japan features the "King of Monsters" as he looked in the 1962 movie, "King Kong vs Godzilla" and is a whopping 18" tall, measures 28" from nose to tail and weighs 20 pounds.

That's a lot of monster!

Godzilla Yuji Sekai's Concept Works Trading Figures - 1964 Godzilla



Yuji Sekai offers up these Godzilla concepts as a new line of trading figures. Packaged in HUGE collectible packaging, these figures come pre-assembled and packaged in plastic trays. Each has a labeled box and includes a cardboard insert featuring pictures of that figure, as well as Sekai himself working on that figure. The figures on average measure 6 inches (15 cm) from head to tail, and include specific labeled bases (English and Japanese) for each figure. The box measures 8 x 7 x 3 inches, a massive size for trading figure packaging.

Talk about a Napoleon complex, this guy may be tiny, but he still has one hell of a ego, and a big head to match. Must be because Godzilla was voted the number one monster of the year at Monster Island News.

The Godzilla with the huge noggin is a Japanese import, and there is only one left, so act fast!
