Martin Solveig + A-Trak

DJed a private event in Florida on Sunday, got back to NYC yesterday. Package waiting for me on the kitchen table. Reese's, Starbursts, M&M's, Hershey's Miniatures, Kit Kats, peanuts, and a thoughtful card from my mommy. Which is good and all, but no Necco Sweethearts. Christ almighty. Oversights like this make me wonder whether or not you even still love me, Mom.

Travis Porter + Roscoe Dash + A-Trak

Travis Porter and Roscoe Dash dropped "All the Way Turnt Up" quite some time ago. I liked it, I got into it, and I forgot about it. My bad. Hearing it at the end of A-Trak's Power Party Mix for Power 106 (which you can download here) reminded what was up. Gonna start playing this out on the regular. Y'all should too.

A-Trak + Drake + Birdman

Panda Toes veterans may or may not remember a certain Breck Elizabeth who started P.T. with me a few years ago. She no longer writes on these here pages, but her lack of dedication hasn't led to the demise of our friendship. Obviously. Anywho, the young miss traveled up to New Hampshire to doggie paddle with me last weekend, and we spent a good ten or twelve hours of every day rocking "Money to Blow." So many choice quotes in that there song.

As soon as Breck left, a certain A-Trak did a little remix of sorts for the track. Nah Right - which has the .mp3 for you scavengers - reports that this is off of his Dirty South Dance Vol. 2. Judging by the fact that his first Dirty South Dance was one of the first mixes I ever really got into, one might guess that I'm twitching with excitement for the rumored second installment.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs + A-Trak

A-Trak has been killing it on the decks for ages, but only (relatively) recently did the masses start hyping his productions. "aNYway" has been the talk of the town of late, but there's a new track in the game that's prepped to blow minds: dude's remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll." The suspenseful moments are wildly energizing and the instrumental moments are epic in a remarkably Top 40-friendly way. This is perfect for darn near any club. Huge.

EDIT:
This is available to download pretty much everywhere on the internet. See: our friends at Discobelle, Disco Dust, etc.

Calvin Harris Vinyl Contest + Duck Sauce

Not yet tired of giveaways? Yea, neither are we. Which is why we here at Panda Toes are offering up a Calvin Harris vinyl to one lucky reader that does the following:
1. Make fly eye glasses.
2. Put them on your face.
3. Take a picture.
4. Send said picture to PandaToes@gmail.com

Needless to say, the most entertaining picture will be crowned winner, his or her crown being a beautiful new C.H. vinyl to either a) wear on his or her pretty little head like a traditional crown or b) spin on a record player. Whatever floats his or her boat.

And on an entirely unrelated note, be sure to check out the new video for Duck Sauce's "aNYway." In case you've been living under a rock for the past few months (which is probably true for any of y'all that haven't yet seen this here video), D.S. is Armand van Helden and A-Trak. The single drops on October 24th - be sure to pick it up.

EDIT: Contest ends in a week.

A-Trak @ The Do Over

This set is depressing for a couple of reasons: first A-Trak's scratching is sick (doesn't fuck with the flow of the set and makes me hate myself). And second, the classic tracks he drops make me feel like hip-hop is two decades past its prime ... either way A-Trak's definitely come into his own ... also the girl in the green shirt is ridiculous.
