Hello there lovelies,
I had meant to have some outfit photos for today, but as the weather in Clermont has been ghastly all weekend my plan sort-of fell through. Luckily, I realised that I had been too slack to post any photos from my holiday, and thus the day was saved. Over Christmas The Boyfriend & I had two weeks off work, which we used to drive from Clermont, to Hervey Bay, to Brisbane, to Wollongong, and back again.
Clockwise from top left: sunset on the night we left Clermont, The Boyfriend when we reached Hervey Bay, Me trying to be artsy in a moving car on the way to Brisbane, & me in Brisbane.I had meant to have some outfit photos for today, but as the weather in Clermont has been ghastly all weekend my plan sort-of fell through. Clockwise from top left: Unfortunately named products in Wollongong, the beautiful Jeep we acquired in Brisbane, The Boyfriends Nanas' huge collection of photographs, & my reading material for the drive.
Clockwise from top left: All of my reading material for the whole two weeks, scenery on the way to Wollongong, a new addition to my owl necklace collection that I like to call Pedro & a cute little owl bag I bought.
Clockwise from top left: Guerilla knitting on a lighthouse in Kiama (it says something like "Isn't it funny that public servants decide what is art and what is vandalism, haha"), the view from one of the headlands at Kiama, The Boyfriend's lovely face at Kiama, & my lovely shoes at Kiama.
Clockwise from top left: The view from Saddleback Mountain, me trying to be artsy from the car again, my face bloacking the view from Saddleback Mountain, & some more view from Saddleback Mountain.
Clockwise from top left: rushed outfit photo in the mirror in Brisbane, me rejoicing when the road signs finally start saying we're close to Brisbane, Shannons family dogs kissing, & our shopping for photography supplies (including an $800 macro lens that I managed to destroy less than two days later).
Clockwise from top left: Another rushed mirror outfit photo, a magpie that came to join us for lunch at the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, some flowers from the Gardens that matched my outfit, & the view out over the pond at the Gardens.
There are mysteriously no pictures from the trip home from Brisbane to Clermont. When I say "mysteriously", I mean there are no photos of that leg because I was sick as a dog the whole way home. I don't travel particularly well. I was pleased to see that my phone camera was less dodgy than I thought though - all these are snaps from my phone! What did you guys do with your time off(if you were lucky enough to get it)?
Until next time, xo.
