Best of the Interwebz

Hello there lovelies,

I've had a great morning catching up on everyones blogs! I only intended to be reading blogs for half an hour or so, but three hours later I finally stopped clicking links & went to the gym. I love that about the blogosphere! There is so much interesting content out there that we only ever get to read a small sample of it. Here's a little bit of awesomeness that I've come across this week:

5 Ways I Display Photos In My Home has some really cute ideas that I love (See also How I Made My Instagram Wall and DIY Instagram Calendar).

Love this DIY Poster Art Tutorial - I knew there was a reason I kept all those old posters.

True Story: I'm 16 And I Have A Career is a great post, about one of my favourite bloggers.

This thrifted dress to camera cozy tutorial is really nifty!

I really, really want to make myself one of these flower crowns. Pretty sure I need one. I also need to make this shark purse.

This tutorial for a DIY removable shoe fringe is pretty crazily cute. I'm not the only one obsessed with fringe, right?

Man, this blew me away - meet Cooper, the photographer cat. Once a week he wears a camera on his collar, which snaps a photo every two minutes. WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA.

Loving this DIY Knotted Rope Bracelet - it took me a while to figure out how it worked though!

How To Style Long Hair Short is a rad tutorial for making your long hair look like a bob for the day.

Today, You Are Free. If you read one thing this week, make it this beautiful piece.

When we have our own place again, I'm making a bunch of these Owl Lamps for the house.

I am also incredibly fond of these gorgeous bird sculptures - made from plastic straws & bags.

These ideas for storing your jewellery are all really cute & interesting.

I absolutely loved Weesha's post about Being The Fat Daughter. She is an incredibly brave & wonderful woman.

Max made yet another cool DIY tutorial - this one for Superhero Comic Art.

Totally style-crushing on Girl Next Door Fashion this week. Charlotte has incredibly cute style.

Twelve Things You Were Not Taught In School About Creative Thinking was a very interesting read.

This DIY Coloured Blocked Shoe tutorial is genius. Pure genius (and also really cute)!

Red Dress Blue Dress is an incredibly interesting article about the archetypes & cultural cues we are embodying when we wear certain colours.

This lovely tutorial for a velvet bow-covered sweater makes me wish it was Winter again already.

Rookie Mag shows us how to make cute scalloped skirts from pillowcases. Rad! Plus, check out the rest of the site. It's aimed at teen girls, but I still love it.

Phew, see what I mean about the overwhelming amount of interesting content? This isn't even half of what I have read & loved this week. But what about you? What have you loved on the internet this week?

Until next time, xo.
