Best of the Interwebz

Hello there lovelies,

Boy have I missed you all this week! My little jaunt to Hervey Bay last weekend kind of derailed my blogging motivation, and good ol' Brisbane has been freezing this week. In other words, I have been spending my evenings huddled under a blanket, eating junk, cuddling The Boyfriend and watching movies instead of taking care of my little blog. Rest assured, I am back on the wagon as of right now - and luckily for me, you all kept on blogging, like the amazing bloggers you are, so I have links to share!

Lovely Thera of Crafty Pirate is taking questions for a little Q&A video - go ask her things!

The history of a cheap dress
is an interesting read about how clothing ended up so cheap.

Meet your puppy match with the Doggelganger! Upload a photo of yourself, and it will match you with your canine twin.

I was pretty freaked out by Tatiana Johnsons' story of her run-in with airport security, and the police over wearing a particular ring to the airport.

A cute post about one of my all-time biggest style crushes: Helena Bonham-Carter.

Pictures of animal best friends
is always enough to cheer me up. My favourite is the monkey & the bird.

The Pair OR The Mental Health Benefits of Letting Stuff Go is a great article about holding onto clothing that no longer fits.

I quite enjoyed Why I Will Never Be A Professional Blogger. What are your thoughts?

Daily Actions: Making a Difference in the Lives of People Around You is an article that illustrates perfectly how we can use the impact we have on other people for the better.

If you've always wanted to make yourself an owl-shaped lantern, never fear! DIY: Owl Lantern is here. I have got to make myself some of these little buggers.

Speaking of owls (as it seems, I do every five minutes), I also love these murals by Lukas Lundberg.

Love this post of Weesha's - mostly for her attitude to haters, but also for her gorgeous dress.

If you have ever wondered what the TV show Friends would be like if all the characters were cats, be glad because you don't have to wonder any longer.

This retrospective of Alexander McQueen & his amazing work makes me wish even more that I could make it to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the exhibition of his designs.

Really digging Psycho Sue's cover of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." LISTEN.

Also, who would have guessed that under the autotune Ke$ha can actually sing. (via Chicken Soup For The Dorky Soul).

I hope you're all having great weekends - and that you've had a great week in my absence. Oh, and if you've seen any great articles, or artworks or videos lately then hook me up!

Until next time, xo.
