Best of the Interwebz

Hello there lovelies,

I am running a little late with this post, but The Boyfriend & I rather spontaneously spent a weekend in Hervey Bay. I spent most of my time hanging out with my grandparents, and soaking up relaxation vibes. I finished off a roll of colour film, and can't wait to have it developed so that I can see the results. I also spent the weekend without the internet, which was rather interesting. This afternoon I went back through all the weekend blog posts that I missed - and I have to conclude that as interesting as life is without the internet, its more interesting with it. Enjoy!

The Burning House is a beautiful image set of collections of things people would take if their house was burning down.

Bicycle Wedding - an adorable looking ceremony involving bicycles, where the bride wears denim cut-offs under her dress.

Creepy Animals
is a incredibly informative blog about, you guessed it, creepy animals.

Getting a J-O-B without a B.A. is a great read for anyone wondering what to do with their lives, without school.

Out of the Nest: Fashion, At First, Was A Hiding Place is a very interesting read in about the way in which fashion can be used to hide yourself, as well as to express yourself.

Everyone thinks I'm a feminist, but I'm not so sure I agree
explores what feminism is, and what it means to call yourself a feminist - read the comments, because they are all excellent.

All together now: we are all real
is an incredibly well-written rant about the "real women" phenomenon.

Beautiful. So that the next time you are told that you are beautiful, you can believe it.

Food Crazy is a really interesting article about a World War II era study looking into the effects of starvation on the human psyche.

I enjoyed this collection of photographs of 1989 American mall culture. So much nostalgia!

Issue 3 of Missfits, a cool little online magazine is out now. Go read it!

How To Dress Joyously. This. I don't even. THIS.

I heard this song on the radio quite a few times over the weekend, and I fell in love.

I hope your weekend was as good as mine.

Until next time, xo.
