Written By: Ken HulseyI know that it has been a couple of days since I last posted an update on any Godzilla related news, but since the news of Legendary Pictures/Warner Bros new movie broke over a week ago, things have calmed down dramatically. Until news breaks about a director, cast or potential plot for the film, news items should be rather scarce.
What I was able to round up were a few little bits about Godzilla showing up at 'Spring Break", how a writer at Forbes thinks Hollywood uses names like, "Godzilla" to get fans to see their, less than stellar, films, and post about the original "Gojira" streaming on Netflix.
Of course, if you are looking for stories about Angeles slugger, Hideki Matsui (nickname - "Godzilla"), then there are plenty of those around since baseball season has started.

Early in the evening, during one of Japan's daily parades honoring all things giant robots and tentacles, a dark, foreboding shadow sent terror down the spines of all those in attendance.

Godzilla bites back in 3D

After the rather damp 1998 Hollywood attempt to bring the great beast alive, Warner Bros. has secured a major picture deal with Toho Films of Hong Kong to bring the beast back to life.
The deal marks the start of a number of new 3D franchises including a 60 minute made-for-IMAX 3D Godzilla flick to be released early 2011. Warner Bros has confirmed the first full length Godzilla movie will hit screens in the summer of 2012.
