What I Wore Today - Is That Floral I Spy?

Hello there lovelies,

It is starting to be a tiring week up here in Clermont. I love the town, love the scenery (I saw wild baby Emus' today!), but there is just so much to be organised. The toughest challenge is proving to be finding our own accomodation. We started looking for rentals today, and had to add ourselves to a three-month waiting list. Plus, most rentals up here don't allow any pets, which is a problem. It looks like we might be rooming with my parents for quite a while yet. Not that I mind, although having your own place is always nice. Besides, there isn't room for all my dresses in the wardrobes in this house, haha.

Outfit Rundown:

Dress: Op-shopped in Wollongong, $6

Owl Necklace & Ring: Present from my Nana
Other Rings: Trade Secret, $3.95

While I was op-shopping down in Wollongong, I specifically had dresses for Summer in mind. Every Summer I seem to develop an inexplicable obsession with flowy floral maxi dresses, so when this one popped up I thought it was high time I acquired one. Although The Boyfriend was a little surprised to see me wearing anything with so much pink in it, the world failed to crash down around my ears in confusion about my newfound girliness. I take this as a sign that the universe approves of me in floral, even if my dressiness did seem to slightly baffle the people of Clermont.

In this dress I really felt as though I should have been lounging beside a large pool, idly gossiping whilst sipping martinis handed to me by a European pool boy. That's got to be a good thing, right? What I actually did was the dishes, budgeting, a little grocery shopping, and a bit of cooking. That doesn't bother me though. I am greatly anticipating moving up here and enjoying the quiet life permanently. Alrighty, well I am mighty tired, and The Boyfriend has already been asleep for near on five hours. I leave you today with something that people would have killed for a few years ago - a photo of me in a pink, floral dress, smiling.

You're totally welcome.

Until next time, xo.
