What I Wore Today - Who Likes Short Shorts? Vol. 2

Hello there lovelies,

You know the weather is warming up when the camera sees enough of my skin to overexpose me. Just call me Casper, I'll take that one. I would say I'm not this white in real life, but I would be lying. Once I move up to Clermont The Boyfriend reckons he's going to install sunscreen dispensers next to our doors so that I don't permanently become a lobster. I think this might actually be a wise decision.

I almost didn't leave the house like this today. I love shorts, but I'm still trying to get over that "certain people don't wear certain things" block in my head. When I do leave the house in shorts I get overly anxious that everyone will laugh at me, and then the fashion police will jump out of the bushes and give me an exorbitant fine. But yesterday it was so freakin' hot that I decided to take the chance. And guess what guys? There was no laughing, and certainly no visit from the fashion police. There was only me feeling awesome, and cool (in the temperature sense of the word) in my shorts. I think I might have disintegrated my "shorts block".

And really, why should I feel anxious about wearing shorts? They're my legs, not anyone else's'. What I do with them, and cover them with is really my business. My legs are pretty rad, when you think about it. They get me through whole days working on my feet, they get me through craploads of lunges in my daily workout, through walks, runs & hikes, and long days of shopping. My legs are pretty damn good to me, so it makes sense that I should love them. And if anyone else doesn't? Well, they don't have to. It doesn't really matter to me, because I do.
