Best of the Interwebz

Hello there lovelies,

That's right, I'm not dead! I did, in fact, make it back safely from Wollongong. I've just been too rooted from traveling to actually do any blogging. I had a great time down south though, mostly just spending time with The Boyfriends' Nana. She was stoked that I loved looking through all her old photos, and I was amazed that although she can no longer see the photos, she knew exactly who was in them from memory. Since I made it back I have mostly been procrastinating, and reading through all of the blog posts waiting for me in Google Reader. Here's some stuff I thought was awesome this week:

The Cat Scan - a tumblr full of funny pictures of cats encountering scanners.

I am head over heels for Syl & Sam's galactic print cut-off shorts. Amazing!

Speaking of head over heels, I'm also crazy for Psycho Sue's USO girl-print dress. This lady has some serious sewing skills.

I can't wait to be out of retail so I can try out this nail tutorial - pink with black & white skulls.

How To Battle The Blues
is great advice on how to deal with that "is this it?" feeling.

Hilarious, weird, totally unnecessary fashion products. Just in case any of you ever need Luxury Condoms.

DIY Hogwarts Acceptance Letter
- for those of you who firmly believe that the owl just got lost on its' way to you.

Wedding Inspiration from Super Mario Brothers is so incredibly adorable. This Owl Themed Vintage Wedding is pretty adorable also.

Going against type is a great post about trying to find an aesthetic that suits you.

I think my favourite post of the week would have to be True Life: How to Treat People in the Service Industry.

I need this dress. It is made from over 1500 discarded pages of Golden childrens' books. Rad.

I hope you're all well & having wonderful weekends. I'm about to start another 12-hour car trip, this time to visit my parents and get The Boyfriend started in his new job in Clermont. Oops, better get back to packing.

Until next time, xo.
