When did I first fall in love with Surkin? What was the track that got me hooked? "White Knight Two"? The "Next of Kin" remix? Or even the "DVNO" remix? Christ, I have no idea. All I know is that somewhere along the way I became obsessed. Helped my boy make a video for the kid's remix of "One Day." Etc.
Well now he's on that Marble Players tip, which obviously rules because everything they touch turns to gold. Or already was gold. Or something. Anyways, Surkin's new release. Pure gold as well. Both mixes of "Orbital Motorway" are good, but "Ultra Light" is obviously the one. The track makes me wanna go to a club. Completely obliterated. Alone. And dance. The dance must be a cross between a fist pump and the thizz face. While shuffling back and forth awkwardly but decidedly. This must happen. God bless this song.
