It is hot here in QLD, Australia. And I mean hot. So hot that the only exercise I have been able to do without collapsing from heat exhaustion is yoga. So hot that I will probably spend my whole second week of leave wearing leggings and one of The Boyfriend's singlets. So hot that you make excuses to go for a drive in the car, just so you can have the air-conditioning running. And yes, so hot that you begin to wonder why there are laws against public nudity. But still, there are always things to do and places to be.

So, my nerdy Saturday attire was in honour of my little brother. I went to watch him in a Call of Duty: Black Ops competition at QANTM. He made it into the state finals! What an awesome little nerd. Also, I was wearing shoes when I went out but I forgot to put them back on before the photos. Otherwise the concrete would have burned the shit out of my feet. Saturday night was THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. Perhaps I over-exaggerate a little bit, but my Mum and I did go to see the musical Wicked at QPAC. I did wear something different to that, but to be honest I couldn't be assed taking pictures. Hurray for honesty!
Sunday Outfit Rundown:
"Defying Gravity" Wicked T-shirt: $40, QPAC
Grey singlet (underneath): stolen from The Boyfriend
Pants: Trade Secret (Otto Mode), $10
Vans: Present from Mummy Dearest
Bracelet: Made by The Boyfriend
Watch: Cotton On, $14.95
Note: this pose is more commonly known as Dance of the Dorkasaurus. Moving on, I am in love with this shirt that my Mum bought me from the merchandise stand at Wicked. Possibly because Defying Gravity is my favourite musical number in the show. Possibly because the whole show was so freakin' good that it made me want to swathe myself in black shawls, and change my name to Elphaba. I am completely serious. Anyway, I wore this to wander around the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens and do a little film photography with my new camera."Defying Gravity" Wicked T-shirt: $40, QPAC

Pants: Trade Secret (Otto Mode), $10

How was your weekend? Hopefully it was as amazing as mine.
Until next time, xo.
