What I Wore Today

Hello lovelies,

Don't mind me, I'm just skipping through the daisies. Or, you know, I would be if my backyard had any daisies for me to skip through. I went to see Black Swan with my favourite Canadian last night. The costumes were amazing, Natalie Portman & Mila Kunis (and the rest of the cast) were amazing, the dance sequences were amazing, and the entire film was visually amazing. But was I the only one that wasn't particularly enamoured with the actual plot? I don't know what it was, but I just didn't really "feel the magic" like most people have.

Outfit Rundown:

Dress: Trade Secret (Sass), customised by me.
Tights: Kmart, $10
Owl Necklace: Trade Secret, $8.95
Bracelets: Made by The Boyfriend
Ballet Flats: Present from Mummy Dearest
Clock Ring: Jay Jays, $2
Fox Ring: Trade Secret, $4.95

I feel obliged to mention that these are the first ballet flats I have ever worn that haven't given me blisters, and left me limping in pain for a whole day after wearing them. They are so comfortable, and actually feel much more supportive that ballet flats usually do. For anyone looking for good flats, they were from Rivers. I wish I had taken some detail shots of them, because these shoes are gorgeous.

I never knew quite how many freckles I have on my chest until right now.

So, I tried to take ring shots, and ended up photographing them upside down. I WIN AT LIFE.

What did you guys out there think of Black Swan? Did you even go to see it? Have any strong opinions about the wearing of ballet flats? Can you tell I'm lonely home by myself, and want someone to talk too?

Until next time, xo.
