What I Wore Today

Hello there lovelies,

I wore this yesterday, to do absolutely nothing. Ok well, I did do the dishes, and the folding. But that's about it. I also watched Look Who's Talking 1, 2 & 3. Little known fact: when I was little I wanted to be Kirstie Alley, and I wanted to marry John Travolta. True story. Anyway, the highlight of my day was probably prancing around in my garden for these photos. Another true story.

Yesterday Outfit Rundown:

Doily T-shirt: Trade Secret, $5, customised by me.
Shredded Singlet: Trade Secret (Sass), $16.95
Pants: Trade Secret (Otto Mode), $10
Dr Martens: Shoe City, $200
Owl Necklace: Trade Secret, $8.95

And, this is what I'm wearing today to do pretty much the same thing I did yesterday. I am leaving the house today though! I have some film to drop off to be developed. I can't wait to show you some photographs from my new film camera! I would have already, but the first two rolls of film I put through the camera got destroyed by a malfunction in the developing machine. If you're in Brisbane, I do recommend Photo Continental though - because of the screw up they gave us two free rolls of film, refunded the development cost, and gave us vouchers for developing the free rolls. Anyway, clothes!

Today Outfit Rundown:

Anchor T-shirt: Thrifted, $2.50
Pants: Target, $30
Sandals: Trade Secret, $14.95
Owl Necklace & Owl Ring: Presents from my Nana
Flower Ring: Trade Secret, $4.95
Bracelets: Made by The Boyfriend

I am really loving these pants. They're a new wardrobe addition, replacing my old "comfy" pants. I had those pants for about four years, and they just seemed to lose their shape one day in the wash. I was devastated that they didn't fit properly any more, but off to the op-shop they go. It's taken me about six months to find a new pair that fit in a similar way, and I'm so glad that I waited for the perfect pair. I've probably tried on a million mediocre pairs in the meantime, but it was worth the wait. These are so comfortable, and fit really nicely (even if they have wrinkled up a bit for these photos).

Obligatory blurry accessory shot. How nice was my Nana to randomly send me this owl necklace, and owl ring? I think I'm pretty lucky to have family members who know me so well. Have you gotten any nice presents lately?

Until next time, xo.
