Ch-ch-ch-changes.
Hello there lovelies,
My life has turned upside down in the last few weeks, but I've been assuming you're all mind-readers again and haven't mentioned it. Unless you follow me on Twitter, then you would have seen my ramblings about buying coats, and selling Lego. Basically, in June The Boyfriend and I are up-rooting from our comfort zone in Brisbane, and moving to a small town outside of Wagga Wagga. We're moving over 1400 kilometres, to a new house, in a new town, in a new state. Most exciting of all, we're going to University. New adventures.
I know right now you might be saying "But this doesn't really explain why you're whining about putting Lego sets together, how are these two things possibly related?". Well, I'll tell you how they're related. Before we go, The Boyfriend and I are selling pretty much everything that we own. We plan to have all our debts paid off before we leave, so we're doing whatever we can to drum up some cash and make this happen. When we first considered this idea, it seemed like insanity. But after we did the figures we realised that if we sell a lot of shit, and live really frugally for the next five months, it is a real possibility. Once we get down there, we'll be living in a house that is owned by The Boyfriend's parents, and our living costs will be halved. I can't wait to actually be able to decorate a house, to have a vegetable garden.
Most of the goals I made in the New Year have been replaced with one: to make this move happen. I can't wait to be back at University again. I will most probably be studying Graphic Design & Photography, or if I can wrangle it, Costume Design. I can't wait to be learning something creative, and be surrounded with creative people again. I've been in Brisbane for four years now. My adventure here has been growing up, and finding out who I am. I think it's high time for a new adventure.
Until next time, xo.
