Hello lovelies,Jeez, I don't post in ages and then when I do the posts just don't stop coming. I went for a walk around Hoods Lagoon yesterday afternoon. While I was there I figured I'd snap a few photos to show you all where I'm going to be living. Well, I won't actually be living in the lagoon. I'll be less than five minutes drive away though.
The park around the lagoon is full of little displays & monuments.
I spotted a freakin' turtle.
There are so many varieties of birds just around this lagoon. I need a longer lens though, because the wildlife up here spooks a lot easier than the wildlife in Brisbane.

How cool is this? You know that in Brisbane it would just get vandalised.
According to The Boyfriend, this guy is a Darter (Anhinga melanogaster). He didn't like me watching him dry his wings.
The ducklings let me get surprisingly close.
They wouldn't stand for me stalking them all around the lagoon.
This wall installation is gorgeous. I remember doing one at my primary school.
Who knew I'd been here before?!
I loved J.F's tile.
The poor buggers though that I had some bread for them.
