Hello lovelies,
Jeez, I don't post in ages and then when I do the posts just don't stop coming. I went for a walk around Hoods Lagoon yesterday afternoon. While I was there I figured I'd snap a few photos to show you all where I'm going to be living. Well, I won't actually be living in the lagoon. I'll be less than five minutes drive away though.

The park around the lagoon is full of little displays & monuments.
I spotted a freakin' turtle.
There are so many varieties of birds just around this lagoon. I need a longer lens though, because the wildlife up here spooks a lot easier than the wildlife in Brisbane.

More boardwalk.
How cool is this? You know that in Brisbane it would just get vandalised.
I think this might just become my favourite spot in the town. The walking track is long - it takes about 15-20 minutes powerwalking to do a full circuit of the lagoon. There are picnic tables, and outdoor exercise equipment. Plus, it is the most peaceful place I have been to in a long time.Rickety boardwalk section of the walking track.

According to The Boyfriend, this guy is a Darter (Anhinga melanogaster). He didn't like me watching him dry his wings.
Until next time, xo.
