Eye Candy

Hello there lovelies,

I try not to dwell too heavily on big name designers and brands in this blog, but every now and then someone will inspire me so much that I can't help talking about it. One of those designers (or two) that inspire me are Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and their creations for their brand Rodarte. Their website archives are full of eccentric, amazing designs and I'm pretty sure their Spring 2011 collection is what fairy princesses would wear if they lived in New York City.

My favourites are the blue designs, but the brown ones are beautiful as well. I love the intricate bodice detailing, the matching shoes, and interesting shapes in this collection. All Rodarte pieces are gorgeous and original. You can't help but notice that great deal of work and care goes into each piece. I am inspired by the originality of the designs, and the attention to detail that goes into this brand. Hats off to Kate & Laura Mulleavy!
