Best Of The Interwebz
Hello there lovelies,
So, today is Christmas. I don't celebrate Christmas as such, beyond being glad that I and my family have enough time off work to be able to see each other all at the same time. We have a big barbeque, which we do any other time we can all get together, and I get presents from people who give me presents pretty much every time I see them. So, luckily for you, this means I have plenty of time to gather some links!
The Best of Gala Darling: 2010 Edition! Goold old Gala did some pretty great writing this year, which you should probably check out.
10 Totally Justifiable Reasons for Murdering Someone This Christmas, from the desk of Death Star PR. This is about as much "Christmas Spirit" as I get.
I really want to make one of these hybrid sweaters for Winter -lucky for me, there's a tute for that.
Violet Bella is another of my new favourite blog finds! This lady is amazingly stylish, and crazy talented.
Best guest post ever! Corrine of Frock and Roll guest posts on yes & yes on How To Move In With Your Beloved and Not Kill Them.
If you love cute, quirky accessories as much as I do, then you could probably use Max California's DIY Hair Clippies/Rings/Brooches tutorial.
Neutral is an amazing post from Vanessa of Chicken Soup for the Dorky Soul on how we view our bodies.
Nubby Twiglet got married! (And the photos & dresses are gorgeous).
Ok, I lied. Here is a TINY bit more Christmas spirit: I've really enjoyed Vanessa of Big Girl, Small Budget's 12 Days of Christmas style challenge. Admittedly, I like it more because she has done so well with such strict guidelines than because of the Christmas element.
If you love rants about Christmas, then read The Busty Traveller's post This is Sparta. You will love it.
Stupid Advice: Ideal Holiday Gifts for Women is also a LOL-worthy read.
The Big Secret is an amazing post by Sal of Already Pretty. I'm so glad that she dug it out of the archives for today!
So effing cute. A tutorial for making fabric watch bands, from Cluck Cluck Sew.
Enjoy my dears, and I hope you're having a great day, whether you celebrate Christmas or not.
Until next time, xo.
