I happened to be wandering past a magazine rack last night, and there on the cover of FHM was Ruby Rose. My first thought (after DAMN GIRL), was "why haven't I done a Ruby Rose style post?". I couldn't think of a good reason not to do such a post, and so here we are. Let's get one thing straight - Ruby Rose, like so many of my other style icons I really have no idea what you do, or why you are famous, but please marry me. Alright, moving on.
JEEZ RUBY DID YOU BRING ENOUGH SEXY FOR THE REST OF THE CLASS? That jacket is epic, and I'm dying to DIY myself a pair of those shorts. I've just got to find a good pair of jeans to cut up.
I really liked Ruby Rose as a blondie too. I think she makes it work. I love the sleek elegant pieces combined with the serious hardware on the boots. This outfit says "I could kick your ass without even breaking a nail."
Aww, how adorable is it when she rocks hats? Also, I am a big fan of just taking every random thing you find and hanging it around your neck. No seriously, I am. I love necklaces that look like you've made them out of random junk (and they're even better when you actually have). You get a good look at Ruby Rose's half-sleeve in this shot as well.
This dress is the craziest thing I have ever seen, in the best possible way. Pretty sure, looking at the pics of it that the big red part can be taken off. TWO CRAZY DRESSES IN ONE. BONUS POINTS.
And last, but certainly not least my favourite look - the studded-denim-short-suit. This is so freakin' rad I can't even express the true radness of it. She just looks so kickass in this, and yet it would look horrible on so many people. I think I should make myself a copy. And then wear it somewhere wildly inappropriate.
So, what's your take on Ruby Rose? And, most importantly, do you know why she's famous? Because now it's really bugging me that I don't know. Even more importantly, is she single? Because I'd totally be up for dating and/or sharing a wardrobe with her.
Until next time, xo.
