Best of the Interwebz

Hello there lovelies,

It's been a hectic few days since I last posted. It all started with my little brother having an accident at work, and lopping off a chunk of his finger. And now, I'm back in Clermont for a week and a bit. Basically, little bro needs someone to help him button his clothes, and lace his work boots (plus, ferry him to his doctors appointments, and make sure he takes his pain meds), and Mum & Dad were just about to leave for Bathurst. One emergency plane trip later, and here I am. I'll have to resume the color challenge tomorrow, because I've been too buggered to take pictures the last few days. I did still find cool Internetty stuff though!

20 Amazing Reimagined Book Covers is, well, amazing. My favorite is 1984, how about you?

Apparently good things come in 20s' this week - 20 Cool Home Library Design Ideas is really cool.

I loved this post about Wearing Second Hand To A Wedding. This lady is gorgeous!

I'm definitely going to be trying out Syl & Sam's tutorial for Top Knot Hair. It looks like it would work, even with my short hair.

Are you in need of some placeholder text for anything? Then you should check out Samuel L. Ipsum. Most badass placeholder text out there.

Wear Color is the coolest Tumblr I've found in a long time.

Shine On, You Crazy Diamond (or How To Ignore Negative Critisism) is a great article for all of us with upcoming new adventures.

The Tattooed Beauty Myth
is a really interesting read about how tattooed women are perceived, and traditional femininity.

I really loved Media Beauty Circus: How To Change The Way You Think About What You Think. It's a really thoughtful post about deciding not to believe the negative things we are told about ourselves.

I want to get my animals a pet mansion.

This tutorial for strawberry nails
(literally) is so freakin' adorable. I think I'm obsessed with nail polish now that I'm finished in retail.

Australia in general isn't big on Halloween, but I loved this collection of Halloween plates. Maybe I should just have Owloween instead? I could serve owl coconut cookies!

This post about Not Defending Our Life Choices is gold.

Have you seen Sarah's fantastic yellow crochet dress? As in, a fantastic yellow dress she crocheted herself?

This video is really close to my heart. A little girl sees her face for the first time after having her cleft lip repaired.

Until next time, xo.
