Lovely actress, and bikini model, Rina Akiyama (24) will be popping up from time-to-time on the Ginza subway line trains, along with other costumed characters, to promote the upcoming movie, "Kamen Rider The Movie - Cho Den-ou Trilogy.”
Akiyama's frequent train trips started this past weekend, and will last until May 9th.
Some 200 fans of the popular television and movie series packed Ueno station this past Sunday for the actresses maiden ride.
If you just can't get enough of the lovely miss Akiyama, she will also be starring in director Go Ohara‘s next film,"Gothic & Lolita Psycho" (Gosurori Shokei-nin), a gothic horror film about a young girl, Yuki, who transforms into a demon to avenge her mother's death.
On a much sadder note, Japanese actor, Kei Satô, has passed away at 81. Godzilla movie fans will remember Sato for his role as Chief Editor Gondo in "The Return of Godzilla" (Gojira / Godzilla 1985).
Sato died Sunday of pneumonia at a Tokyo hospital.
The veteran actor began his career in the 1959 film, "Ningen no jôken" (aka "Human Condition II: Road to Eternity") and continued acting until last year. Mostly known for playing mobsters and other criminals, Sato gained considerable notoriety for appearing in a series of films directed by prizewinning filmmaker Nagisa Oshima.
