What I Wore Today, Volume Three + Get To Know You

Hello, hello,

Here's my outfit from today. Ok, you caught me, I didn't actually wear this for the whole day. But while I was out I bought this shirt, and it was too cute to not wear straight away. I like to think of this as my "I Wish I Was A Boy" type outfit. And once in it, I was inspired to try and make the face that Jillian (the female trainer who used to be on The Biggest Loser) does on the front of her fitness DVD's, because I realised these pants are now too big for me. Yay, more shopping.

Outfit Rundown:
Hat: Yup, it's the crazy cat lady hat again. I wear this thing way too much.

Padlock Necklace: Made by my boyfriend.
T-shirt: Kmart, $19.99

Belt: Jay Jays, 2 for $15

Pants: Jay Jays, $10 (about 2 years ago now)

Boots: Target, $39.99, oh how I love them (also, they match my necklace).

And now, a get to know you exercise snaffled from another blog I was reading today.

What is your current obsession?
Skelanimals. Emo as it might be, I love all their clothes with the cute little skeleton animals on them. I've got a cool Skelanimals skirt, a t-shirt and I just bought another t-shirt on eBay. I'm also watching this awesome little skeleton panda pendant on eBay. Yup, obsessed.

What is your weirdest obsession?
My Little Pony? I don't know if that is really wierd. But I've been collecting them since I was a little girl. :)

What are you wearing today?
Well, since you've already got photos of what I'm wearing now... earlier on I was wearing the same pants, with a Jay Jay's singlet, an Emily the Strange "Kitty" dress worn as a jumper and a bandana wrapped around my head 50's housewife style.

Why is today special?
Because I have carpet burn on my elbow? I haven't done much today, in case you can't tell.

What would you like to learn to do?
Play guitar, and use nunchucks.

If you could meet a fictional character (books, movies…) who would that be?
Phedre no' Delaunay, from the Kushiel's Legacy books by Jacqueline Carey. And pretty much anyone else from that series of books. If you haven't read them you should do it right now.

What’s the last thing you bought?
The green smiley t-shirt I'm wearing in the photos. Cost me $19.99, but I had to have it.

What are you listening to right now?
I'm actually watching The Last Samurai, with Tom Cruise in it.

What is your favorite weather?
I like cold weather. Mainly because I have an unhealthy love for knitted hats, scarves and big wooly coats. And because Australian Summer really sucks balls.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?
Right here in Australia - probably in Hervey Bay or somewhere similar. Somewhere where if you live out of town you feel like you're living in the bush, but it's actually only a short drive to shopping centers and such. Although, I wouldn't mind moving to Tasmania for the cold weather. Plus, it's absolutely gorgeous over there.

Favorite vacation spot?
I found a really nice little camping spot - but if I told you where it was, I'd have to kill you.

What would you like to have in your hands right now?
Money, and my university degree.

What would you like to get rid of?
Um, not really anything right now. I only just cleaned out my entire house, and chucked a whole load of stuff.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Stonehenge.

Which language do you want to learn?
Italian, so I can visit my (sort of) relatives from over that way.

What did you dream of last night?
Something involving my long-term boyfriend which I'm not putting on the internet.

One thing that you would snitch out of someone’s closet, with no regrets?
Mary-Kate Olsen's crazy hats. And pretty much anything Gala Darling wears.

What’s your favorite piece of clothing in your closet?
My new boots. I've been searching for months (and all Winter last year) for the perfect pair of boots. And then I found some at Target, but they were the wrong size. So I literally searched all the Target stores in Brisbane until I found one with a pair in my size. But I love them so much, and I wear them with everything.

What is your dream job?

I'm honestly not sure right now. I'm going through a bit of a mixed-up phase.

Personal aspirations at the moment?

Grow up, finish Psychology degree, go back to to University & get Genetics degree, have children, be happy. :)

If you had a time machine, which time would you like to revisit?

Ancient Egypt. It's always been my favourite period of time to research.

Your favourite pet?

Tessy Bessy. My first little puppy dog, we got her when I was four years old. She was a miniature fox terrier and I used to dress her up in babies clothes, then push her around in a little pink pram. She died in 2006, when she was 14 years old.

If you had to eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My Mum's macaroni and chicken.
