Why The Bloodhound Gang Makes The World A Happier Place

Hey there lovelies,

I've come up with a new strategy for dealing with the inevitable build-up of frustration that occurs after working particularly painful days in retail. When the day finishes, I hurry out the door into my car, and then pump this song out through my crappy speakers:

At first glance, it seems like a pretty negative way to deal with things right? But here's the thing - I cannot, and I mean cannot listen to this song without cracking up laughing. By the time the song finishes, I'm laughing so hard, and in such a good mood that I've completely forgotten what annoyed me about my day in the first place. I get home with a smile on my face, completely ready to spend my time at home happily, instead of bitching about what happened during the day. (Of course, this isn't foolproof, I still bitch sometimes!). But that, my dears, is why The Bloodhound Gang makes the world a happier place.

I'm Back!

I know, I've been neglecting you all again! I've been taking a much needed sabbatical from pretty much everything, and doing a whole lot of serious thinking. I've come to some pretty serious decisions about the direction of my life. I'm terrified, but I feel amazing. I don't think I'm going to go back to University next year. It's interesting, but right now, it makes my life miserable. Instead I'm going to be working at Trade Secret (hopefully full-time), and getting some fashion/business qualifications behind me. In a year or two, I want to go public with my own clothing brand. In five or ten years, I want to run my own clothing store. I'm so excited just thinking about it - and I think that shows I'm making the right decision, because I feel the happiest I have in a long time.

But now that I'm finished rambling, blogging is back on lovelies! You can expect regular recordings of my personal thoughts right here (almost) every day (I hope that this is exciting to someone besides me, haha).
