Bear witness to DIY on a grand scale. A GRAND SCALE, I TELL YOU.
Some of my home cities landmarks were covered in wooly Winter gear for the first day of Winter, as part of the I Knit Brisbane project. This is most probably the coolest thing ever.
"Some of the I Knit Brisbane public art installations in the CBD include a glove covering the two metre tall Sebastian de Mauro 'hand' sculpture at 175 Eagle Street, a giant silk spider web and feature spider on St Francis House in Elizabeth Street, giant balls of wool in Reddacliff Place, a crocheted garden in King George Square and cosies for the Goodwill Bridge at South Bank."

Have any of you guys ever tried guerrilla knitting? I reckon it sounds kickass. If only I could figure out how to knit! Teach me?
Until next time, xo.
